Then you should get another webradio program. I can't use ancient encoders, AAC on 96kbps deliver mp3 128 kbps quality.
It's not a matter of "nobody can hear your radio", but you're right about those dedicated Internet receivers. It's a shame they don't offer multi-codec decoding capabilities.
We might cast in mp3 too, will see.

VLC media player is a highly portable multimedia player and multimedia framework capable of reading most audio and video formats (MPEG-2, MPEG-4, H.264, DivX, MPEG-1, mp3, ogg, aac ...) as well as DVDs, Audio CDs VCDs, and various streaming protocols.
hugo.data I have no problems with VLC, You should try.

I use Winamp, just downlaod the listen.pls file from here and use Winamp to open it up, great sound.

Hi everybody,

I know that Winamp and VLC Player can decode der AAC format but they are not really usable for recording.
With the programm I use, I can set plenty of timer for recording und I can work on the recorded files very comfortable.

I also use WavePad Sound Editor to record the sound from winamp.
