  • Karl : need help-i cannot listen rockhall anymore.Since some month every time after i choose vlc player to listen-but nothing happens( no streaming.
  • Quiet_Man : Started a message last night had to leave PC for a whilecame back and hit wrong key and sent part of message. I believe the problem I am having is becausemy ISP Talk Talk does not use static IP addresses hence I probably have a different IP every time I try to login. Is there any way around this??

Hi Twister,

Why don't you use the mp3 audio format, which can be received with every Internet Radio.

I don't want to hear the programm via PC.

Hi Hugo,
Mainly because of mp3's low quality encoding.
anyway, DJ's may broadcast in their favorite format, including MP3. It's just a personal decision to cast in AAC.

Hi Twister,

Of course it is your decision, but if nobody can hear your radio, you should think about.
Most of the Internet Receivers can't encode AAC.
Even my favorite pc webradio programm (Magix Webradio) can not receiver your station.

I prefer VLC - no problems.
I would say try VLC and it works.
